Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Alex Kent, trading as Leora ("Leora", "we", "us") covering your use of the Leora app. By downloading or using Leora you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

What Leora is

Leora is a personal-development app for affirmations, subliminal audio and manifestation practice. It is a tool for reflection and habit-building.

Leora is not healthcare. It does not provide medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Nothing in the app is a promise of any particular outcome, financial, physical or otherwise. If you are struggling with your mental or physical health, please speak to a professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Leora only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Subscriptions and payment

Leora Unlimited unlocks the full app. It is an auto-renewing subscription bought through your Apple ID, in one of these plans:

The monthly plan is offered in particular circumstances rather than on the main subscription screen – for example if you are about to remove the app. It is a separate subscription from the weekly and yearly plans, so it cannot be swapped into from one of those; taking it would mean cancelling the one you hold.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling for the United Kingdom. In other countries the price is set by Apple in your local currency and may differ; the exact amount is always shown before you confirm. We may run promotional or introductory pricing, and prices may change in future – any change applies from your next renewal, never retroactively.

There is no free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact Apple Support – we have no ability to issue a refund ourselves.

Your content

Anything you write or draw in the app – your affirmations, notes, intentions, drawings, photos and voice recordings – belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and we cannot see it. Where it is stored is described in the Privacy Policy.

Our content

The audio, text, artwork and design in Leora belong to us or our licensors. You may use them personally inside the app. You may not resell, redistribute or republish them, or extract the audio for use elsewhere.

Fair use of the app

Please do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app or its services, or use it to do anything unlawful.

Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the app. We will not knowingly remove a paid feature during a period you have already paid for without offering a remedy.

Liability

Leora is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
